Portland Business Journal: Nike is letting customers design and create footwear, apparel and equipment, with a new store in New York called NikeID Studio. The New York location features a touchscreen in the front window of the store where consumers will be able to design on the street before an audience. People will be able to e-mail their designs from the touchscreen to their friends, to their home computer or purchase the design inside.
