Nintendo rolling out new retail display kiosks in Japan

• 22 Dec 2009

Gaming blog Kotaku.com reports that Nintendo is set to install four new retail kiosks/camera-activated information stations outfitted with touchscreen interfaces.

Customers will be able to access information about Nintendo titles, game recommendations, sales figures and upcoming releases. They will be able to hold up a DS or Wii title to the station's camera to see the game's trailer. Two of the kiosks are headed to Tokyo, with one more going to Osaka and another to Kawasaki, according to a post by Kotaku.com’s Brian Ashcraft.
