Caroline Cooper

• 11 Nov 2009

Redbox has announced that Mary Leonard, the company's senior vice president of operations, has been recognized by "Video Business" and "Home Media Magazine" as one of the most influential women in the home entertainment industry and will appear in a special "Women Elite" listing in "Video Business" and in Home Media Magazine's "Women in Home Entertainment" issue.

According to a news release from redbox, Leonard oversees the deployment of rebox kiosks, which has expanded rapidly in recent months to an average of one kiosk per hour.

Mitch Lowe, president of redbox, congratulated Leonard on the honor:
Mary’s operations expertise, leadership skills and passion for providing our clients and customers the highest level of service have been instrumental in the growth and success of redbox. Redbox congratulates Mary on being named one of the most influential women in the home entertainment industry and for contributing to the ongoing success of redbox.
Prior to joining redbox in 2006, Leonard worked for RR Donnelley Logistics and FedEx Corp., redbox says.
