AW900XTR Outdoor Long-range 900 MHz Wireless Ethernet Radio

The AW900XTR Wireless Ethernet Radio Transceiver has many features that allow it to be used in a variety of robust industrial applications. The AW900xTR offers the ideal combination of price, range, data rate, security, interference avoidance, quality-of-service, and ease-of-use.

The AW900XTR allows you to build a long-range, non-line-of-sight, point-to-multipoint wireless Ethernet solution that can enable fringe IP devices, including IP access control readers, SCADA clients, bio-scanners, printers, PCs, VoIP phones, point-of-sale devices, digital signage, or Internet kiosks.    

The radios are also available as a pre-configured matched pair for point-to-point bridge applications, order the AW900XTR-PAIR.      
 
Any combination of AW900XTR and AW900XTP radios may be combined in your system configuration.  
   
The AW900XTR Radio Transceivers provide:  
   
  • 935 Kb/s Ethernet throughput 
  • IP Addressability
  • A built in browser interface for diagnosing problems and changing settings
  • A built-in spectrum analyzer viewable through the browser interface that can aid in troubleshooting RF interference issues
  • A rugged, weatherproof die-cast aluminum box with power supplied to the radio via the LAN cable to reduce interconnection costs (120 VAC to 12 VDC adapter and POE Injector included)   
  •  12 s electable non-overlapping RF channels from 903 to 926 MHz, FCC approved with no special licensing required
  • 128 bit AES encryption (FIPS 197 – NIST certified) 
  • Very low power consumption: 1.7 watts when transmitting, 0.8 watts when receiving 
  • Automatic channel switching to avoid RF interference, or channel may be manually selected 
  • Up to 12 access points and up to 16 clients per access point in point-to-multipoint applications   
  • Availablity of a variety of directional and omni directional antennas with up to 15 dBi gain 
  • 148 dB radio link budget and 40 mile range (using 15 dBi antenna)

AW900XTP 900 MHz Integrated Radio Transceiver and Antenna
 

The AW900XTP provides point-to-point or point-to- multipoint non-line-of-sight wireless Ethernet connectivity using the 900 MHz frequency band. Narrow channel bandwidth and high transmit power allow much longer range communication than WIFI or other similar technologies. Each radio is integrated with a 12.5 dBi flat panel directional antenna and may be mounted indoors or out.

The AW5800XTR provides point-to-point or point-to-multipoint line-of-sight wireless Ethernet connectivity using the 5.8 GHz frequency band. Narrow channel bandwidth and high transmit power allow much longer range communication than WIFI or other similar technologies. Each radio is packaged in a weatherproof die-cast aluminum enclosure and may be mounted indoors or out.

 

 
AW5800XTP 5.8 GHz Integrated Radio Transceiver and Antenna
 
The AW5800XTP provides point-to-point or point-to- multipoint line-of-sight wireless Ethernet connectivity using the 5.8 GHz frequency band. Narrow channel bandwidth and high transmit power allow much longer range communication than WIFI or other similar technologies. Each radio is integrated with a 23 dBi flat panel directional antenna and may be mounted indoors or out.
 
AW5800HTP-PAIR 5.8 GHz High Speed Integrated Radio Transceiver and Antenna Bridge
 
The AW5800HTP-PAIR provides high speed point-to-point line-of-sight wireless Ethernet connectivity using the 5.8 GHz frequency band. Throughput of 5 Mbps makes this solution ideal for video backhaul applications. Each radio is integrated with a 23 dBi flat panel directional antenna and may be mounted indoors or out.
