| | | CUSTOM Engineering spa was founded in 1992 with the intention to create mechatronic (mechanical/electronic) solutions, in particular for the emerging printer market.
CUSTOM is a privately held stock company with a share capital of 4,5 Ml/€ (6,5Ml/$)
CUSTOM has a staff of 175 persons, 50% in development activities, r&d, design, quality,certification, technical support and testing and 50% in sales, administrative and logistics departments.
Manufacturing is managed and organized from the Headquarters using external partners:
- sub-contractors in Italy and India, all ISO 9002 compliant
- CPE SRL – Custom Production Europe – 85% CUSTOM capital, society whose aim is the production of base products for the OEM sector, printing mechanism and printers, with base in Romania. Today there’s a staff of 35 persons
Since the foundation, the objective is to invest a lot in research and development, products and solutions.
All the hardware (electronics, mechanical and design projects) and the software technical steps (firmware, drivers tools and utilities) are done internally within the company.
